Do experts not only suggest that wanting to live in a beautiful big house rather than a small cosy one mean that the individual also lacks security and secretly has issues proportionate to the size of their house? Hence, a big house means big fucked up problems yes? No? Well that is if you can even call it your house since you didn’t actually buy nor do u own it as the house would probably belong to a parent or whatever…ok yes a person may have been brought up with nice things but lets see when you are out in the world alone, no help from anyone, will you still be able to have nice things? Even afford a house? You never know what the future has in store for you and what obstacles you may encounter on the way that will lead you to live in a shithole on the side of the street.
It appears that an individual is living in the past and thinks that they are better than some people just cos they may have more physical belongings and been brought up with more money. If we were still living in the past, you as a girl wouldn’t even be able to work, go to school, vote and all that other stuff. You do realise It is believed these days people are equals. Whatever country you are from, I think living in Australia is a privilege. This society has offered you so many chances in life where you would have not been able to receive if you were born or stayed in your country. You may even be one of these so called vegefarmers that is continually mentioned stating that they are looked down on. Having money doesn’t mean you can treat other people like shit. Money cant buy you anything that is truly important in life like say honesty, trust, people skills? True happiness or even love? The world doesn’t need low insults that put down other people. Does putting down other people make you feel like a bigger person? Calling someone “a lil trash bag hoe” because of a rumour u heard? does that make you less of one? Claiming to be educated and all, shouldn’t you know better having been brought up with better morals? Do u know the meaning of dignity? Im guessing no and sensing a bit of contradiction….
Anyway is it just me or does this girl talk a whole heap of crap. It’s as if she lives for drama and has nothing better to do than sit at a computer either spreading gossip or coming up with crap to fill up blogs. Spending all your time with the dictionary coming up with new big exciting words is just a laugh bonus. A so called ‘vege farmer’ is a termed coined by academics and experts during the 1970s and 80s to decribe the influx of Asian immigrants, particularly of Vietnamese decent, into Australia. Some Australian’s were furious that their jobs were being taken over (esp the farming and agriculture industry). They were also concerned that these immigrants, namely the Vietnamese, weren’t adapting to Australian ways of life and had difficulty intergrating with with Western society’s values and attitudes. These people refused to learn the english laguage; work or abide by western laws, rules and customs despite massive efforts and policies from the Fraser and Whitlam government to provide these people with housing, education, food and social security. After several years of residence in Australia, this minority who lacked education, social skills and western morale took the farming and agriculture sector by storm and their children followed. And that is where the term ‘vege farmer’ came from =D. Try ‘googling’ it - ‘Vietnamese immigration in Australia’. It is important to note however, this extract only refers to a ‘minority’ of immigrants and their children. A MAJORITY of immigrants were well adapted to western way of life and pledged to intergrate themselves by adopting western values and attitudes and well as upholding the positive values and attitudes embedded in them from their birthplace. These ‘angels’ helped the people who had helped them escape a war-torn land of torture, disorder, communism and injustice….and land where people ultimately starved as a result of diseases and lack of food and water. This majority sought education and work, and ultimately added to Australia’s prosperity. Now we have Vietnamese delis, restaurants, grocers, caterers, shoe shiners, CEOs, investors, architects……. and nearly every other profession/non profession under the sun including some vege farmers. Today the vege farmers wake up at 5am just to pick the strawberries we eat.MMMMM I love strawberries and I am very grateful of their hardwork and endeavour to get me my fav fruit! A minority of these vege farmers are a shadow of the early influx of immigrants while some have fully intergrated themselves into a Western culture. Nowadays the term ‘vege farmer’ is used as a stereotype….not a literal meaning, i.e. the local vege farmer is not a poor c*%t but instead, the minority of Vietnamese youth who possess the traits apparent in the early immigrants are deemed ‘vege farmers’. Not only have some of these ‘vege farmers’ have cost the State billions in loss output, they have been a burden on our judicial system. The recommendations made by the researcher to the former Hawke and Keating Governments included:
1. Education and acknowledgement of the importance of multiculturalism including the funding of Vietnamese New Year events.
2. Deportation of repeat and serious offenders (homicide related).
3. Laws to protect Australia’s values, attitudes and national identity.
4. The stationing of Vietnamese liasion officers at schools were the Vietnamese student population was at 5% or greater, or where a threat was present.

John Howard, backed by the opposition recently announced his intentions of a national citizenship test whereby the applicant has a chance to prove if they are “Aussie-literate” and to test if they are able to intergrate into Australian way of life. I do not personally know cheng or sussan, but even from an omniscient point of view, it is clearly evident who the foolish, immature, deceptive liar is and who the rational one is in this debate.
